We restore and rebind books using old work techniques and hand craftmanship. Our portfolio includes 15th C. vellum texts in wood boards, 16th and 17th C leather bound books; 18th and 19th C. family bibles, and 20th century modern first editons, cookbooks, and wedding albums. We create design bindings in leather, cloth, or mixed fabrics, using genuine gold leaf, hand dyes and special tooling. We make archival clam shell boxes often with designer leather bindings. We provide free estimates in our shop with an appointment, or a free estimate based on emailed photographs. All our work is done to archival standards.
