One of the six talented Community Supported Artists, Alexis Nutini of Dos Tres Press, will be opening up his shop for an afternoon of print demonstrations, refreshments and a preview of his 2017 Community Supported Art edition.
June 24 / 3 - 7 PM
On display will be a selection of projects made at Dos Tres Press and the current state of 180 variable woodblock prints. Each one has been made from the same blocks yet they are unique based on the colors used, stage of the carved block and printing order. By midsummer, fifty prints will be selected for the CSA shares and the rest will continue to be printed on. This work is constantly evolving and breaking off into subsets so this will be a one of a kind opportunity to see the project in its entirety.
Those that have purchased shares or are interested in buying one will get a glimpse at what is to come at the fall pickup events.
Like a Community Supported Agriculture program, CSA supports a direct maker-to-buyer relationship between artists and collectors working and living in the Philadelphia region. Featuring a diverse range of contemporary art from local artists, the program offers curated “shares” of innovative and affordable artwork.
We hope you'll join us at the event!
